Tarte Flambée Bee Sting
Ingredients for one tarte flambée:
- 300 ml milk
- 100 ml cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 sachet vanilla pudding powder
- 1 Tarte flambée dough
- 70 g almonds, sliced
- Liquid honey at will
- Powdered sugar
Put the milk and cream with the honey, sugar and salt in a pot and heat the mixture while stirring. Mix the vanilla pudding powder with 3 tablespoons of milk until smooth and gradually add it to the pot. Let the mixture boil, stirring constantly, and then remove it from the heat. Take a tarte flan base and spread it with the cream. Leave a border of about 1 cm. Then sprinkle with the almonds. Drizzle the honey over the almonds and dust the tarte flambée with powdered sugar. Bake the tarte flambée until lightly browned. After baking, dust the tarte flambée again with powdered sugar. Traditionally, tarte flambée is served cut into pieces on a wooden board.
